I'm an eccentric oddball who tends to try just about anything once, especially if it's food. I'm the kind of person who will usually root for the underdog, and I am attracted to various weird things from avant-garde music to classic cartoons. Some of my tastes are strikingly sane and sobering too. I read and watch way too much news, and like a good classic pop song every so often. Especially if it's from the 1960's. Though my tastes span just about any genre you can name with the exception of modern country, mainstream alternative rock, and most hip-hop. My taste in film is a-whole-nother-thing. Too varied to even bother going into here. In general, I like to think of myself as fairly open minded, but extremely critical of things I don't like. All of this, I believe stems from having a very enjoyable and strange childhood and being surrounded by a plethora of unique, funny, clever, and sometimes scary people, who have roamed in and out of my life, and sometimes back again, for as long as I can remember. I try to have a good sense of humor about life in order to keep myself from going completly nuts.

Howdy, y'all! Hot enough out there for you?
Wow, comments already. I'm so flattered. I haven't even told everyone about this thing yet!
The only problem I forsee is how the hell often I'll be able to post. Technically, I'm not supposed to use the internet at work for personal use. But so far, no one really enforces that. Still, I worry about pushing my luck. And yet, that never seems to stop me.
So things will be slow for a while. But that's probably a good thing, otherwise I'd just fill it up with more nonesense than people can stand... kinda like my old website.
Soon though, I'll have internet at home. For now I think maybe I'll just post some of my recent columns, and photos.
Thanks for the interest guys! Damn, I better get cracking on this thing!
